Heather Weemes, LCSW

Tele-health offered

My approach begins by meeting you exactly where you are, honoring your experiences and emotions in the present moment. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing space where you can feel truly seen and supported. Together, we’ll explore meaningful connections, uncover insights from past experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, including your values, communication patterns, and attachment styles.

Since 2019, I’ve worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and more, supporting clients from ages 11 to 100. My style is both compassionate and direct—I’ll gently encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, knowing that growth happens when we lean into discomfort.

I draw from various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, internal family systems (IFS), somatic therapy, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and advanced trauma techniques like accelerated resolution therapy (ART).

Starting therapy takes immense courage, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you on this new journey. It’s a privilege to encourage and support your growth as you take steps toward healing and a more meaningful, connected life.
